Tein RX1 Coilovers 2015-2021 WRX / 2015-2021 STI

The Tein RX1 Coilovers feature the Hydraulic Bump Stopper which will provide a comfortable ride for all the passengers. When a lowered vehicle goes over large bumps, typically they will have a urethane or a rubber bump stops that absorb the shock. However the RX1 is equipped with the Hydraulic Bump Stop which is mounted inside the shock absorber. This effectively generates the damping force near, or at full-bump to absorb large impacts in a smoother manner. This latest technology has been inspired, tested, and proven in World Rally Championships, and has been passed on to street driven vehicles.

These also feature independent ride height adjustment. Which means you can effectively change the ride height by adjusting the case length without messing with the pre-load. With this feature the change in ride quality is minimal when the height is adjusted. This is perfect for those of you who want to remain slammed, while having a comfortable ride. Top hats are included so you don’t have to re-use your stock units, or source out other upper mounts. They are compatible with EDFC Series to enable in-car dampening control, and come with adjusting tools. They are also available for overhauling.

RX1 Coilovers feature 16-level damping force adjustment, for simultaneous adjustment of compression and rebound. Modify ride comfort and handling according to your preference, changing the properties of the shock absorber with the adjustment dial.

Lower brackets on strut type suspensions (front) come with camber angle adjustment feature! Camber angle can be adjusted by rotating the eccentric washer 180°. This feature can enable camber angle adjustment, even if it can not be adjusted with the upper mounts.
